Employees were encouraged to dress up for today's holiday (there's a contest, too!) so, I decided to wear my Flapper costume from a few years ago, instead of my Sandra D costume I've worn last weekend and last night! It was pretty fun, too!

You look authentic.
Funny Francie, I would not dress up for work. I'd always be afraid someone really sick would come in and I'd look stupid all dressed up trying to be their nurse.
Well, it's probably a good thing you paired pants with it for work!
I would never wear a costume to work either. I think it'd be hard to take your doctor seriously in a costume. But, at work today in the O.R., one of the pre-op nurses was dressed in a full nun costume. It was so funny. I forgot that it was Halloween, since we already went yesterday, and at first I didn't recognize her. I was like, "who's the nun?" We were all joking that our patients seemed much calmer and more peaceful in pre-op though, so I guess she picked a good costume!
Im with Lori, I would feel so dumb dressing up for work. What if you got there and no one else was dressed up? Or what if you got there and just had a horrible day, you kept making mistakes, you were tired and annoyed by other people, and you had to walk around in a dumb costume...lol. That would actually be kinda funny.
